Ideally, I am interested in racing lotuses such as the elise and/ or exige in either closed course races on road courses, or track races. However, I would first like to try stock racing out.
I am currently a high school student, who’s under the age of 18, and without tons of money to spend on a car (so far). That being said, I think racing stock cars is a more logical choice to start with.
I’ve heard a great number of people write about the Skip Barber 3 Day School. They say it awards an SCCA Regional license, which enables one to legally race. With this license, I’ve heard that one can just show up at a specific track to race cars they don’t even own. That means no highly expensive equipment to buy.
Any professional advice would be greatly appreciated.
Evan York driving his FOX / Biesse HPV-3 100cc kart at Charlotte Motorspeedway’s kart track on an open test-day. Dirty and patches of wet track conditions made for an interesting day of karting!

The kart is finished and i do a video (in 2 pts) of how i built it. NOTE: No one can comment anymore as i got tired of getting 5 comments a day of people telling me the welding is shit. Yes i no it is, i made this when i was like 14 and it was my first time welding. They look like shit but hold very very well. Ive had 100kg people on this with no troubles, no weld has broken. Im better at welding now. So yer if ur mad the comment feature is removed then blame the haters.
Ok, Hi people and noobs! In this video i will be showing you ho to make a custom track on Mario Kart Wii! I will be using the SZS modifier and paint. If you wanna make one just play close attention. If you got any questions just ask me, i will be more then glad to answer. I am using the SZS modifier, the SZS modifier is the only program that allows you make make custom tracks. I find it really easy, but i got some even better news, the “mario kart wii course creator” will make it even easier. Anyways, just fallow the steps and you will do fine. This is part one of the video out of 3, if you really wanna learn just watch them all. Thanks!
Decided to swap my little 5.5HP Honda engine for a 16HP vanguard twin cylinder Briggs and Stratton. All of this took basically a night and a day. Needs a better pull start, and a muffler of course… which will increase speed. Pretty good overall since it was sitting on a shelf for over a year.
use scales, in your case you just multiply it to a bigger number
if for example, your drawing is 10 inches but you actually want a 100 inches length you just say 1:10 (in words in goes like – one is to ten)
this is just simply enlarging it 10 times
